Along his fashion journey, designer Cuong Dam arrives at the crossroads of ancient and modern values, of Eastern and Western inspirations, based on which he launches the product line CHATS BY CDAM together with the FUSION collection. The collection has been a shift in his creative thinking, including contemporary figures developed from Vietnamese folk culture such as yem dao (a traditional brassiere), ao tu than (a traditional four-piece top), or do paper fan, alongside the elegance of Empress Nam Phương. The details of pleated raglan sleeves, off shoulder neckline, A-line skirt, attune to the inspiration of ancient Vietnamese clothing, over a minimalist background of neutral colours such as white, black, beige...
