Archetype” is the 10th anniversary collection that seeks and honors the foundational values of the contemporary woman. This collection is dedicated to encapsulating an era and heralding a new chapter for the brand. It signifies the time when CHATS by C.DAM women find equilibrium on endless journeys, discover their unique values, and prepare for the beginning of a new dawn.

Within every woman, perspectives shift dynamically, opening up a new way to see, a new avenue to explore. No longer are women confined in clear-cut, polarizing limits. By Gestures, one is able to define whoever they wish to be or become.

In a summer daze, the CHATS woman settles upon the setting horizon, between the sea and the skies. There, she finds herself diving into feminine intellect, where independent strength meets with supple emotions. “Figure” harmo- nizes those different dimensions deep within the female mind. Sharp tailored lines speaking of freedom; soft storied pleats following the form speaking of intuition.

The contemporary woman of CHATS by C.DAM steps into yet another new phase. Using her self-awareness and well-balanced feminine wisdom, she freely explores minimalist ideas harboring within the multi-aspect slices of the new life.

Debuting during the holiday season, “Hybrid, Continued” embodys the new year festivities through its use of red. Our syntax for creativity is translated through cuts and pleating for movement, breathing new life into the traditional Vietnamese ao dai silhouette.

With our mission to preserve cultural values, the Quang Ganh, a traditional method of transporting everyday essentials, along with the halter top, became an inspiration for us at C.Dam to create the Tonquin Collection, bridging the gap between the past and the present.

The crossroad of fashion and sculpture.
Upon Cuong Dam’s interaction with sculptor Khong Do Tuyen, a pure synchronization was born. In Artifact, fashion and sculpting meet at a crossroads, one of various dichotomies: in material (rock-fabric), in contour (harsh-willowy), and in nature (hard-soft). But it all comes down to visual expression and intricate techniques of the creator. 
Each Artifact design is, in it itself, a sculpture, where designer Cuong Dam divulges into the complexities within ourselves: sometimes gentle, we move in syncopation, sometimes staunch, brisk like how a creator touches rock and wood. Perhaps most of all, these pieces instill the power to honor the space and laud the beauty of whoever adorns the piece.

“ĐÀM” is a conversation between the past and present, fusing the beauty of traditional costumes — áo dài and áo tứ thân — with the creative language of Deconstruction.
Our signature designs are modified from the collar of áo dài, making the bag straps a highlight, while the image of the slits on áo tứ thân is illustrated on the body of the bags. The link between the straps and the body forms a striking shape similar to a minimalist sculpture.

Inspired by the fluidity and connection of water, the ‘RHYTHM’ collection brings a harmony of traditional and modern values through each meticulously crafted piece. The designer infuses the classic ‘áo dài’ with breakthrough elements such as rhythmic pleats and dynamic cuts, mimicking the flow of water on the pieces in the collection.

To express the desire for freedom through fashion, the LUSTER collection utilizes deconstruction techniques on non-linear cuts, along with a balanced color scheme of blue, camel brown, black, and white. These designs employ the signature feminine and contemporary aesthetic CHATS by C.DAM is known for, instilling confidence and poise in the women of CHATS.

The centripetal motif, developed throughout culture and architecture, parallels the journey into our inner world in search of oneself. This concept inspired designer Cuong Dam to research and create the collection INFLOW – Mindfulness. During this journey, one might find the quiet needed to listen to their own inner harmony, mirrored in the way each design in the INFLOW collection is named after musical terms. Utilizing natural tones and Vietnamese-inspired materials and silhouettes, the collection is presented from a contemporary angle, employing bamboo and rattan art to honor cultural identity and traditional craft.

Each change within the minds of CHATS women represents a transition between their old selves and the new versions they are becoming. Drawing inspiration from these shifts, Creative Director Cường Đàm takes a pause at the intersection of past and present, East Asian and Western, to introduce ‘FUSION’ which features a much more varied range of nuances compared to previous creations.

Journeying out of familiarity, the women of CHATS explore whirling transformations. Countless words can describe her now, and contemporary beauty might just be the novel facet we find within a woman seeking constant progress. Building upon this energy, the SLICE Collection uses cut-out details and striking pleating techniques in natural tones to honor a modern, independent woman with an incredibly sharp sense of beauty.

Drawing inspiration from the fluidity of rivers, the majesty of waterfalls, and the elegance of mountain vistas, our collection embodies the harmonious interplay between nature and artistry. Featuring a captivating palette of bold red and serene sky blue, ‘DEAR HUE, SAIGON, HANOI’ reflects a modern femininity—fresh and graceful.

The ‘BECOMING’ collection captures the essence of the unique beauty and pure energy of the CHATS women, reminiscent of the early days of the brand. It reflects a pivotal moment in the brand’s journey, where modernity and sophistication coexist within femininity. This collection stands as one of the cornerstones of today’s era, embodying the enthusiasm and unwavering inner strength that define the modern woman. Through each design, ‘BECOMING’ brings forth a distinctive allure, celebrating the transformative journey of embracing one’s true self.

Featuring high-quality materials, delicate monochromatic designs, and pleated motifs representing wings, ‘FULL SWING’ is CHATS’s fashion statement and a living declaration of modern women’s desire for freedom.
